TEN THINGS
ABOUT US

Ten Textiles is owned and operated by a close-knit family with a passion for and commitment to the industry.

Our history dates back to the 1930’s when the company was founded in Finland.

Our Nordic Office is located in Finland, whereas our production site is based in Telsiai, Lithuania.

We produce flat and tubular rib and terry fabrics for both functional garments and technical product applications.

All of our fabrics are Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX-certified.

We do not use elastane in our rib fabrics. The stretch-and-return attribute is achieved by knitting know-how.

Quality is vital to our business because we value our customers and care for the safety and comfort of their customers. Read our Quality Policy Statement here.

Our FR product range is certified to all flame retardant, antistatic and electric arc requirements (EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 11611, EN ISO 14116, EN469, EN469/A1, IEC 61482-2, EN1149-5, ASTM D6413).

We are a member of the Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association LATIA.

Are you wondering what the “ten” in Ten Textiles stands for? For us, it has several different meanings. “Ten” is an abbreviation of the company’s original name in Finnish, “Teollisuusnauha”. Ten also stands for “tensile”, i.e. capable of being drawn out or stretched – a characteristic of our rib fabrics. Ten is also the highest grade you can receive in Finland and we believe that our fabrics have earned that grade!
